Reynolds Composites Studio RZR 46T

The stunningly light RZR is the first product to come out of Reynolds' new ultra-premium Composites Studio division and the numbers are indeed jaw-dropping. Our tubular test pair weighs just 896g without skewers (364g front, 532g rear, 34g skewers) – and no, none of that's a typo – and the asking price is a hefty US$6,000 per pair (and neither is that).

The huge down tube with press fit bottom bracket technology
RFR-geometry stand out by their sports character. The riding characteristics, rider comfort and rider safety in particular are taken in account for each individual bike category.
At press-fit bottom bracket to the bearing cups pressed directly into the case and not as usual screwed. The larger enclosure width allows for wider tie the down tube as well as the chain stays. Since the Housing flows into the stiffness calculation, arise with every millimeter of extra width of significant improvements in lateral stiffness. Fork service

Few pictures when I sent my fork for a service. The fork giving a weired sound before it totally broke down and the black stopper like rubber has popped out from it's place.
I am a bit lucky since there was not so many customers on that time. No service charge given for this fork service. I hope the fork will be ok after this.
Megat's Cube GTC...not done yet

Ready For Race Ride 28/03/2010

Today, KBC has pick up the Sedenak trail challenge. Some of our members who are going to participate in the Jasin Jamboree in early May has decided to use today's ride as their preparation. As usual we started from Acong Steel Bar Cafe. No one is allowed to take a brake at least after 15 km.
Picture above shows how the two BMC got our attention.
Picture of the BMC's rebels.
This is not supposed to be a short break but, Joe need to do some adjustment to his riding position.
We finally took our official break after 15km. The above picture shows how Joe had a fall after trying to pass the small bridge. We took our break after this incident.
Everyone have share their ideas on how to improve this bike. I am not sure if it's 100% trusted and can be follow.
Adi and Meng secretly discuss to build a ramp to cross this river.
Joe, finally pass the bridge challenge and in between the six of us, Meng was selected as the best rider for today. We were happy since we had achieved our objectives. The weather was good and the 30km trail was smooth yet challenging. We have completed our ride around 12.00. Until next ride, stay fit and ride safely.

Orbea’s 2011 Rallon

The Rallon 10.

In 2011, Orbea will no longer be only associated with Julien Absalon and the ProTour in the US. Their newRallon enduro bike will surely open trail riders’ eyes to the Spanish company.

In Europe, people know what enduro bikes are for; they’re for racing enduros, of course. The enduro racing format is comparable to motorcycle enduro or the auto rally racing that’s found in the US. Riders take on multiple stages over the course of a couple days and they do it on what we consider trail bikes; total lowest time wins.

Orbea offers three models of the Rallon for 2011. All three models share the same heavily hydroformed Tricone aluminium frame, which features a tapered 1.125- to 1.5-inch head tube and lifetime warranty. All models also use a custom Fox RP23 boost valve shock with XV air can that’s been specifically tuned for the bike’s suspension design.
The top of the range Rallon 10 is finished with a bells-and-whistle all-mountain group highlighted by Truvativ’s HammerSchmidt internally geared two-speed crank, crankbrothers JoplinR adjustable seatpost, Fox 36 Talas RC2 fork and Formula R1 brakes. The Rallon 10 retails for US$5,649.

The Rallon 30 features Shimano’s XT component group supplemented with Formula RX brakes and Fox 32 Talas RLC fork. The model costs $4,199.

The Rallon 50 swaps for Shimano SLX and a Fox 32 Float RL fork for $3,199.

The first 150-200 Rallons shipped to the US should be available in May at select dealers.

Haro BMX

Please share some of your comment about this Haro BMX bike that I am planning to buy from Lobo aka Botak's brother. I don't know much about this bike and I am very glad to hear from you guys about this. Thanks

BMW bicycle

Subaru have done it, Peugeot have just started doing it again, and Ferrari joined forces with Colnago to do it too – and now BMW have produced a bicycle which apparently combines “state-of-the-art technology and exclusive design”.

The German car company’s M series division are best known for upgrading standard BMW cars with, for example, improved handling and suspension, and more aggressive aerodynamics.

Now they’ve put their name and famous M badge on a two-wheeled machine, the M Bike. The spec includes Shimano’s SLX mountain bike groupset, hydraulic disc brakes, a Manitou Match suspension fork with 80mm of travel – and slick tyres.

According to BMW: “Anyone who rides this sporty speed bike through the city or takes a short tour through the countryside will immediately attract a lot of attention − at least for a few seconds. The high total gear ratio transmission delivers astonishing speed.”
