The latest from Shimano for 2009 also introducing more carbon fiber which in my opinion follow the foot steps of Campagnolo and Sram. I am not very familiar with Shimano product and have a very little experience about it. I will be more than happy if I can upgrade my 105 groupset to this 7800 series. The 7900 series will be too much for the sets of frame that I have right now.

I woke up early and prepare for cycling trip with other Pontian Cyling Dude member. A few of us will start cycling from Pontian, Cikgu Khairul will start from Simpang Renggam and we decided to meet up at Gunung Pulai 2. This is great. The weather was good for most of the weekdays and also yesterday...but suddenly the black clouds gathered and the rain started to fall and I stranded at home fully equiped so I end up doing this post. Another post about G Shock. I hope you don't mind

Another famous version in G-Shock man series is a MUDMAN series. I own a DW8400 and a DW9000 version. Picture above shows the back of my two Mudman. You can wear the watch and play some mud out side coz its mud resist...hehe

The DW8400 is much bigger when wearing compare to DW9000

The DW9000 was released around Nov 2006. There is also a new version of Mudman G9010 that was released this year with different dial but using the same bezel as G9100

Scott stem 90mm

The postman asks me why I received so many things, is it worth buying from the net? So far I had great experience buying from BBS.com and this time I bought a Scott stem. Picture shown a well packaging parcel.

It's a Scott component stem 90mm. Please note that the seller also put polystyrene cylinder to cushion the stem to avoid damage during delivery. Great

I spent RM36 to get this beauty and I am very pleased with it so far.

G-Shock DW5600C and G-Shock Frogman DW8200 1V

After I learned how to use eBay (thanks to Briko280), I try to catch this two g-shock which are model DW5600C and a Frogman. The DW5600C is really difficult to buy from local store and I was lucky enough to grab it from eBay. The only problem is that you have to wait for a long time for the item to deliver. This DW5600C I bought from the US eBay seller

The watch has seen many years of use but luckily the condition is still good. So as usual as a Muslim I do the samak and clean the watch toroughly. I can see many paint spot on the watch band but it can easily wipe off using paint remover.

The differences between the new and old DW5600 can be seen in the picture above. Where the old/vintage DW5600 uses screw back instead of 4 screw holding the back plate. Mine is stated DW5600 (901) Japan H.

Another odd that I found from this watch is it uses a very dim orange LED. Usually from my search on the internet it has a green LED.

Around 3pm the postmen arrived and deliver me this envelope. This is a G-Shock Watch Frogman DW8200 1V. This Froggy I bought from HK eBay seller

This Frogman is the 2nd generation from the Frogman Series, FYI we are now in 4th generation of Frogman series.

The watch looks and wear great, the condition when arrive also superb. The crystal face is flawless too. This is my first and only Frogman so far.

Campagnolo super record 11s groupset

Alessandro Ballan became the new world champion at Varese 2008. His Campagnolo Record 11s groupset enabled him to put on a powerful burst of speed 2 km from the finish that made him the first into the Mapei Cycling Stadium and made the spectators go wild. The Italian national coach, Franco Ballerini did himself credit. He was lionised by the crowd but above all by his team as he celebrated his third world championship win in a row. He says that it's the team that won because also at Varese they worked together perfectly, placing two men on the winners' podium: Ballan and Cunego, who both wear the Lampre colours. Our thoughts are naturally also with the captain, Paolo Bettini (Quickstep), who on the occasion of the Varese World Championships announced that he was leaving professional cycling. Everyone expected Bettini to win his third consecutive striped jersey at the World Championships, but it was not to be.
