In this "VIP" edition of the RXR Ulteam frame, Time has made an elegant statement on what a beautiful bike can achieve. Finished in gloss black, all logos have a dark blue sheen that shows a subtle glimmer in the sunlight. With this clearcoat finish, you also save 40 grams over the painted version!

Drawing inspiration from the World Championship-winning RXR Chrono, the RXR Ulteam road bike is their stiffest, most efficient race bike to date. Each tube has been optimized for performance and aerodynamics resulting in a SCx (product of frontal surface by air penetration coefficient) among the most favorable in the industry.

This frame is the result of the best, most cutting-edge carbon manufacturing techniques of the cycling world. This machine has been optimized down to the smallest details; Time employs their special in-house carbon design and manufacturing in constructing even the smallest parts out of their own carbon weave: bottom bracket shell, one-piece fork, fork dropouts, stem with CMT insert, and even bottle cage bolts are all produced by Time's factories in Europe.

The RXR Ulteam uses the new Safe+2 fork with multi diameter steerer guaranteeing strength, light weight and stability with exceptional steering precision. The Time patented multi diameter steerer, with Time's specific oversize lower bearing guarantees total security with outstanding resistance to shock.

The RXR Ulteam uses a new optimized "Translink" aerodynamic shape seat tube with 3 cm of saddle height adjustment. This design not only increases lateral stiffness, but is also 35 grams lighter than the traditional seatpost. The RXR Ulteam also offers 2 front derailleur height options for compatibility to the broadest gearing ranges.
