This newly bought G Shock DW6900MS belongs to my friend, Megat. After we had a good discussion on what current G Shock models that is a good buy to start off, I suggested him to buy this Military Inspired 6900 series which I believed will be great for beginner or long time G shock follower.
Even though this model was not a limited edition series, I found out that the watch is becoming hard to find in our local watch shops.
The watch has a 1289 module inside and has been made in Thailand.
The number (1289=module number) on the band really add some military look to the watch.
The red letters on the ring was perfect. Here's some translation from the official G Shock Japan website about this watch:

If you look more closely to the picture above, The Frogman MS doesn't have the same matte black as the DW-6900MS. The frogman surprising has black/silver metallic like color on it. Even though they are from the same series, they are both different even in color. I hope this G Shock DW-6900MS will not be the last G Shock watch he bought. May he be in great health wearing this beauty...
