Changing BMX fork

I have 2 sets of Dyno bmx fork and plan to swap one of the fork with Acong GT bmx fork.

Unfortunately, the project was half way done when we learned that there are two types of forks for bmx. One is a standard 1" steer and another is 1 1/8" steer ( thread less ). So in order to use the GT fork, I need to use different headset. However, I do have a spare GT (no quill) stem that suit perfectly with the GT fork. I still learning about bmx.
