The £149.99 Vibe Sprint stem with full carbon body has a claimed double rigidity of the regular PRO Vibe 7S stem, and uses a Headloc clamp to eliminate lateral movement. Weight starts at 170g, it’ll be available in 105, 120 and 135mm lengths.
The ubiquitous ‘r’ word, rigidity, is also the key to the new Cavendish handlebar too with its reinforced alloy, internally splined construction. Priced at £74.99 it weighs from 295g and comes in 40, 42 and 44cm sizes.
