Race Spirit Ride 21/03/10

One of a new technique that need to be mastered by mtb cyclist was the skill of waking up people. Picture shows how Botak applying his skill by banging the front door of Megat's house. However his effort needs 30 minutes to wake up Megat.
Finally, we manage to arrived and by that time Acong and Meng was already there.
Today's ride got its name from the newly built botak's bicycle.
We were very fortunate because the weather was good. However the trail is very wet.
At the first few kilometers, many obstacle giving us a very hard time. Almost all of us have a fall today.
The trail was much harder than what we expected.
A group photo was taken at our first official rest.
The above picture doesn't ment that we were unable to ride uphill....but the track was really bad and too slippery.
Our journey was much easier as we enter the palm oil estate.
Acong had a front tyre wheelie as the climbing getting steeper and steeper.
More uphill.
We won't miss the chance to took some pictures at the summit. The background on the picture
is Gunung Pulai. From left, Botak, Meng, Megat, and Acong
As we descending downhill, Botak caught a rear tire puncture.
We had a short 23.5km trail that was much challenging than what we expected especially here got plenty of uphill. All KBC's latest installment working well too. For others KBC member who were unable to join us today, get your self prepare. Until next ride. Stay fit and ride safely.
